The production of wool consumes a significant amount of water for cleaning the fibers. However, at the factory that manufactures these textiles, 79% of the water used can be recycled.
Wool is a natural and renewable material that grows without harmful chemicals. The wool for this material is sourced from farmers who prioritize animal welfare and use only certified anti-mulesing wool.
Description
Una is crafted in Denmark with the utmost artistry and attention to detail. Each product is one-of-a-kind and conveys a special sense of exclusivity. Una’s fabric is a vibrantly dyed wool cover that resembles felt. During production, the yarn is woven in a plain weave and then subjected to pressure and high temperatures. During the subsequent filling process, the material transforms from a rough surface into a soft and uniformly felt-like surface.
